These tailor-made recipes are not focused on spiciness but rather represent luxury, technique, delicacy, and richness in flavors. With over-80-years of culinary dexterity of Chengdu cuisine, guests will embark on a multi-sensory journey, discovering the most authentic delicacies that bring flavors beyond fiery and hot.

Chef Yang Dengquan, Executive Sous Chef of Five Foot Road, has helmed the restaurant since its opening, overseeing the cuisine concept and menu development of this unique dining spot. Chef Yang brings his profound understanding of the precision required in Chengdu cuisine to the kitchen of Five Foot Road. He is one of the few chefs who possesses the culinary techniques and knife skills to shed light on the intricacies of true Chengdu flavors.

In staying true to Chengdu cuisine, fresh spices, herbs as well as seasonal ingredients, such as top-quality wild mushrooms, are directly imported from Sichuan and Yunnan.
