유례없는 고급 쓰촨 요리 콘셉트로 Five Foot Road 레스토랑은 1940년대 청두(成都) 지역 유명 인사가 즐겼던 연회 요리에 중점을 두고 붉고 매운 쓰촨 요리의 전통적인 이미지를 뒤집은 만큼 귀한 재교, 정교한 요리 기법과 월등한 별미를 강조합니다. Five Foot Road 레스토랑은 80여 년의 역사를 지닌 청두 요리 기술의 정수를 재현해 손님들이 매운 맛 이외의 가장 정통적인 별미를 경험할 수 있도록 이끌어 줍니다.

레스토랑이 개업할 때부터 총주방장 양등전(楊登全)은 독특한 음식 콘셉트를 위해 다양한 요리를 끊임없이 개발하고 있습니다. 뛰어난 요리 솜씨와 칼질로 가장 정확한 청두 요리의 특색과 정통적이고 섬세한 맛을 Five Foot Road에서 즐길 수 있게 합니다.

청두의 가장 순수한 맛을 내기 위해 모두 쓰촨과 윈난에서 직접 구입된 신선한 향신료와 조미료, 그리고 최고급 야생 버섯을 포함한 제철 재료를 사용하고 있습니다.

또한 레스토랑에서는 손님들이 오래된 청두 찻집의 별미를 맛볼 수 있도록 차를 음미할 수 있는 공간을 따로 마련했습니다. 이 공간에서 서예 작품을 감상하면서 쓰촨의 전통적이고 건강한 ‘팔보차’, 쓰촨 명주 또는 중국 최고의 포도밭에서 생산된 각종 고급 와인을 맛볼 수 있습니다.
