“MGM Lion Dance Championship 2025 Annual Spectacle” is heating up and kicking off with “The 11th MGM Junior Lion Dance Summer Class 2025”, calling all 5–8-year-olds!
For the past 11 years, we have inspired kids to step beyond the classroom and explore their talents through sports and cultural experiences. Our lion dance training not only builds physical strength, self-discipline and team spirit, but also builds friendship and a profound connection with Chinese cultural heritage.
“MGM Junior Lion Dance Summer Class” will be held in Barra District this year, where students learn the traditional art in a historic cultural area. The seven-week course covers lion dance history, basic steps and formations, and the use of props and musical instruments. The course ends with a public performance, a chance for students to showcase the results of their training, and potentially their first steps into the competitive sport of lion dance.

- Class A: Monday 14:00 - 15:30 & Wednesday 16:00 - 17:30
- Class B: Monday 16:00 - 17:30 & Thursday 14:00 - 15:30
- Class C: Tuesday 14:00 - 15:30 & Thursday 16:00 - 17:30
- Class D: Tuesday 16:00 - 17:30 & Friday 14:00 - 15:30
- Class E: Wednesday 14:00 - 15:30 & Friday 16:00 - 17:30
- Graduation Ceremony: Date To Be Confirmed
- Age: aged 5 to 8 (Eligible between 8 July 2016 and 7 July 2020)
- Availability: 100 participants (Should the number of applications exceed the intended capacity, a randomized computer draw will select successful applicants)
- Fee: Free of charge
Application Requirement: Please complete the registration form in below link and submit: (a) a copy of the participant’s valid identification document; (b) a medical report issued by a registered medical practitioner in Macau
