"As painting brush goes over, it unconsciously brings me to where I am today," said the artis. His source of inspiration is originated at Chinese “Xieyi Paintings”, which he simplifies figurative forms into subtle contour lines and shapes by his seemingly-casual brushstrokes. By applying repetitive patterns and overlapping shades and lines, his works give a sense of bewildering dynamics. With his preference of earth tone, namely azurite, taupe and beige grey, this work reveals a kind of transcendence with quaint vicissitudes and everlasting elegance.
