Born in Shanghai, Wang Jieyin graduated from Shanghai Fine Arts Academy. Following the law from “nature”, he used to depict in primitive landscapes and images including strolling clouds and floating water, flowers and plants. Together with the transformation of varieties forms of art like block print, oil painting, ink and wash, etc., he drifts between tradition and contemporary era, and becomes a unique style-guiding painter. He has taken part in national exhibitions and numerous shows abroad, such as in Italy, Spain, Germany and Singapore, and attracts acquisition from the mainland and overseas art institutions.
