Co-organised by Cultural Affairs Bureau, Macao Orchestra Company, Limited and MGM, Disney’s “Aladdin” in Concert will be performed on June 1 and 2 at MGM Theater, MGM COTAI. In this concert, Macao Orchestra will perform gripping music from Disney’s classic “Aladdin”, accompanied by the live animation displayed on the world’s largest permanent indoor LED screen at the MGM Theater, providing children and adults with the power of the story in a dual-sensory experience on Children’s Day.
“Aladdin”, a Disney’s classic animated film released in 1992, has impressed audience around the world with its fantastic plot and imagination and has been a companion for generations. On Children’s Day this year, under the baton of Tony Cheng-Te Yeh (Assistant Conductor of Macao Orchestra), Macao Orchestra and a number of Disney artists who will sing for the main characters, including CJ Tan, Rayray, RJ Woessner and SEMISCON Vocal Band, will present an audio-visual feast that combines animation, symphony, and singing, bringing music enthusiasts a concert to relive the award-winning songs composed by Alan Menken.
