Graduated from Xia Men Art Academy majored in sculpture, Gao Xiaowu continued studying sculpture at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and currently lives and works in Beijing. He believes that art belongs to everyone. The lives of ordinary people living in the city are always the theme of his work, revealing the artist’s humanistic concern, criticism and reflection of social issues. Some sculpture works were collected by MoMA New York, The White Rabbit Art Foundation Sydney, Ekaterina Culture Foundation and DBS Bank and private collectors.
