The prototype of the art installation comes from the residency show Macau 2049. With almost a year to design and polish, this “Lion” microparts various cultural elements from around the world including ancient Chinese jade, Egyptian sculptures, and pixel aesthetics. It is composed of 3,988 “gold brick” pixels, executing the mechanical flipping through advanced control systems and data programming.

"Macau 2049" integrates Miao silver ornaments and embroidery into the design of its stage lighting, blending multi-ethnic cultural elements to present an ethnic fashion amid the silver light and blues. This is a dialogue between cultural rebirth and modern aesthetics.
