“Macau 2049” debuts at Beijing’s National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) as part of the “Archive of Possible Worlds: 2026 International Tech & Art Exhibition,” reimagining intangible cultural heritage through cutting-edge tech art.

Chef Homan Tsui, Executive Chef of MGM helming Black Pearl One Diamond Restaurant Imperial Court, joins forces with Chef Stephen Chang, Executive Chef of the world’s first MICHELIN-Starred Northeastern Chinese restaurant Zhiguan Courtyard, to curate an exclusive degustation experience that artfully weaves together the rich culinary heritages of North and South.

For one night only, Grill 58 presents an exclusive cellar dinner featuring the acclaimed wines of Lebanon’s century-old Chateau Musar. These exceptional vintages are paired with a selection of premium land and sea delicacies, expertly crafted using open-fire grilling, smoking and aging techniques to bring out rich and vibrant flavors.

The annual “Negroni Week” celebration returns at “Bar Patuá”, where many flavors of life are settled into a delicate whisper within the glass.

The competition kicks off on 10-11 October at Macau's World Heritage landmark, Barra Square, featuring 25 elite lion dance teams from 14 countries and regions competing for the prestigious Lion King title.

This year’s "MGM Lion Dance Festival” highlights include the "Lion Dance Culture in Chinese Life" exhibition, which brings together four lion dance inheritors from different regions and five contemporary cross-media artists. The exhibition showcases nine lion dance artworks that fuse traditional craftsmanship with modern creativity, connecting the world through the spirit of the lion. Tracing the roots and transformation of lion dance culture, the artistry of lion head making, and the journey of the lion dance from folk activity to the international stage, the exhibition reveals how lion dance heritage continues to thrive and shine in the new era.

When the sea breeze meets the rhythm, and music connects body and mind—This November, an annual experience of music, movement, and urban trends is set to unfold in Macao. Jointly organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and MGM, “hush! Beach Concerts x Urban Sports Wellfest 2026” will return to Hac Sa Beach on 14–15 November.

On September 11, Ethan Liu and Anlu Chen, founder and mixologist of CMYK, the creative Changsha bar ranked No. 27 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, will take over Bar Patuá for one night only, presenting a special menu of four creative cocktails crafted with cognac, single malt Scotch whisky, and gin.
