Grande Praça at MGM MACAU Becomes a New Landmark for the Games with Debut of Macau Limited Edition Collection


[August 28, 2025, Macau] The official licensed merchandise store for the 15th National Games and Paralympic Games Macau Competition Zone officially opened today (August 28) at MGM MACAU. This marks the second merchandise store in Macau following the flagship store at Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion and is the first to open in an integrated resort, offering locals and visitors a more convenient shopping experience. The store will operate until the end of this year, providing easy access for shopping official licensed merchandise.

Located at the Grande Praça of MGM MACAU, the store combines the grandeur of European-inspired architecture under natural light with the vibrant energy of the Games, creating a truly unique atmosphere. This pop-up destination is set to become one of Macau’s most Instagrammable retail spots, where visitors can shop for limited edition merchandise and capture unforgettable moments against a stunning backdrop—making it a must-visit destination in town.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Pun Weng Kun, Director of the Preparatory Office for the Organization of the Macau Competition Zone of the 15th National Games and Paralympic Games; Kenneth Feng, President and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited; Fu Si Na, Deputy Director of the Preparatory Office for the Organization of the Macau Competition Zone of the 15th National Games and Paralympic Games; Lü Liang, General Manager of China Sports International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd.; Catarina Lio, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing of MGM; Irene Wong, Senior Vice President of Public and Community Relations of MGM and Choi Wai Chan, Macau Partner of China Sports International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd.. The event was also attended by members of the Sports Committee and distinguished guests.

The launch featured the highly anticipated Macau limited edition collection, including keychains, travel water bottles, towels, document folders, and postcards. Each design thoughtfully incorporates elements of Macau’s UNESCO World Heritage landmarks—such as the Ruins of St. Paul’s, A-Ma Temple, Guia Lighthouse, St. Dominic’s Church and Dom Pedro V Theatre—blending centuries-old heritage with the dynamic spirit of the Games. These items not only celebrate Macau’s rich cultural legacy but also hold unique commemorative and collectible value.
