Craving a weekend that goes beyond the glitz and gets to the heart of Macau?

You're in luck. In support of the SAR Government's initiative to revitalise community economies, MGM has joined the "Tourism and 'Leisure' Buses" Community Exploration Programme, launching a free shuttle service departing from MGM COTAI every Saturday and Sunday from 25 April. Hop on and explore the city's most characterful neighbourhoods—from ZAPE and NAnim’Arte NAM VAN to the lived-in charm of Rotunda de Carlos da Maia, Iao Hon, Barra, Hong Kung Temple and Patane. Along the way, 30 partner merchants are rolling out exclusive dining perks and shopping discounts, giving you a true taste of Macau's UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Don't miss the classics—Porto Exterior Portuguese Restaurant, Tong Vu Seafood Hot Pot Restaurant, and Choi Heong Yuen Bakery—and be sure to pull up a stool at Heng Wong Fat Dai Pai Dong for wok-fired Cantonese comfort food. Round off the afternoon with a spin through the Macao Grand Prix Museum.
