Bronze Money Tree, Eastern Han (Collection of Mianyang Museum): An Endowment of Longevity

Branches spread wide, and the phoenixes stand with wings outstretched. At the apex of the branches, the Queen Mother of the West is enthroned, surrounded by motifs of wuzhu coins, dancing figures, vermilion birds, and horses. In Han culture, the money tree was more than a symbol of wealth; it also represented longevity and a flourishing family legacy.
