Michelin-Starred Aji and Co- Unite to Host Two-Day Culinary Encounter at MGM

Mar 30, 2026

MGM is pleased to announce the return of the acclaimed “Gastronomic Journey with Star Chefs” series this year with an exclusive six-hands culinary collaboration between three of Asia’s hottest young chefs. For two days only on April 3 and 4, Executive Sous Chef Pan Sihui of MGM COTAI, who helms Michelin-starred Aji, will unite with Chef Yang Jin and Chef You Meiyi, the visionary husband-wife duo behind Chengdu’s Michelin-starred restaurant Co-. The three award-winning chefs, who share a common passion for French culinary artistry, will blend the meticulous culinary techniques of France with Asian and Sichuan gastronomy to create an exceptional multisensory dining experience at Aji. Through this latest culinary collaboration, MGM is proud to continue building on Macau’s unique role as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Co-, short for “collaboration”, is also a homonym with the restaurant’s Chinese name which draws inspiration from the aromatic spices of Sichuan. Chef-founders Lao Yang and You Meiyi are renowned for skillfully blending French culinary techniques, recreating coastal flavor memories, and harvesting local ingredients from their very own eco-farm. Under their leadership, Co- has garnered One Michelin Star, a One-Diamond honor from the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide and most recently earned a spot on the extended list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 list for the first time.

Chef Pan Sihui of Aji has garnered acclaim for masterfully blending Asian flavors with French culinary techniques through his innovative “Asian Bistronomy” concept. He carefully selects premium seasonal ingredients from both land and sea to craft his dishes. Inspired by his multicultural Singaporean roots, he elevates the flavors of Asia by crafting each dish with precision and artistry. With Chef Pan at the helm of Aji, the restaurant has garnered One Michelin Star and received a One-Diamond honor from the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide.

The exclusive six‑hands dining experiences will shine a light on the finest of seafood – Hokkaido Uni, Pacific Tuna, Blue Lobster and local Dover Sole – all carefully sourced from around the world. To unlock the original flavors of these premium seafood ingredients, the three renowned chefs will create contemporary dishes that cleverly capture the distinctive culinary signatures of Chef Pan Sihui’s refined Asian flavor profiles and the bold, yet nuanced inspirations of Sichuan from Co-. With the precise techniques of France as the foundation for their creations, the chefs will combine their talents to present exceptional culinary experiences that showcase the very best of French culinary artistry and the expressive flavors of Asia.

For two days only, the three chefs will combine their creative culinary talents to present an unforgettable multisensory dining experience on April 3 and 4. The eight-course dinner is priced at MOP 1,888* per person and guests are also welcome to elevate their experience with sommelier pairings for MOP 700*. Reservations are recommended as seats at Aji are limited for this exclusive culinary event. For inquiries and reservations, please call: (853) 8806 2308 or visit www.mgm.mo.
