The 18th-century dagger, with a jade hilt and gemstone-inlaid gilt scabbard, reflects superb craftsmanship and opulent beauty.

Moreover, the Emerald Lounge showcases elegant paintings by Chinese Artist Huang Guanyu. Continuing the exploratory spirit of his mentor, the great modern master Wu Guanzhong, he integrates Chinese aesthetics into oil painting. His Lotus series evokes an almost intangible realm, bridging Eastern and Western sensibilities. Interwoven lotus pods and stems resemble undulating mountains, delighting the senses while harmonizing with the lounge’s ambience.

A Large Blue And White ‘Melon And Fruit’ Dish, Yongzheng Period

Qing Dynasty Diameter 45cm This dish is decorated inside and out with blue-and-white motifs. The outer wall features six groups of fruiting branches, symbolizing good fortune. Around the inner rim runs a band of wave pattern, while the interior is adorned with entwined seasonal flowers, conveying the wish for “joy throughout the four seasons.” At the center, a design of intertwined melon vines with abundant fruits represents the auspicious meaning of “endless generations.”

A Very Rare Celadon-Glazed Conjoined Vase, Yongzheng Period

Qing Dynasty Height 24cm This conjoined vase, when viewed from above, resembles a blooming plum blossom. The central vase rises tall like the flower’s pistil, while the five surrounding vases form the petals. The design is innovative and distinctive. The entire piece is coated with a pale celadon glaze, giving it an elegant and subdued color.

A Fine Tea-Dust Glazed Arrow Vase, Qianlong Period

Qing Dynasty Height 24.9cm This vase features a yellowish-green tea-dust glaze, warm and archaic in tone. It was highly prized during the Qianlong era for its imperial taste and craftsmanship.

18th century Length 40.5cm The hilt is white jade inlaid with gemstones and accented with metal floral patterns. The scabbard features floral and foliage motifs with gemstone inlays, and its jade guard and mouth bear fine leaf carvings.
