[Tuesday, September 4] The annual Oktoberfest Macau at MGM will once again rock the town in October this year. To mark its 10th anniversary, the event will take place at MGM’s newest resort hotel, MGM COTAI, with a more spacious environment to welcome more guests and make the party even more fun. Guests can experience the most authentic Oktoberfest outside of Germany in the 11-day Bavarian party.

With Macau celebrating the “2018 Macao Year of Gastronomy,” MGM aims to enhance the city’s gastronomic development with its cultural and entertainment elements as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. Once again, MGM collaborates with the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hong Kong and the German Macau Business Association, with the Macao Government Tourism Office as the supporting unit.

In the past nine years, MGM has welcomed 127,473 beer lovers with 123,750 liters of beer and nearly 40,000 kilograms of roasted pork knuckles and chickens. MGM captures the essence of the festivities through the traditional German food and beverage, entertainments and decorations, delivering the most authentic Bavarian party atmosphere to Macau. The beloved Högl Fun Band will once again fly over from Munich for dynamic live performances. Löwenbräu, one of the six genuine German Oktoberfest brews, is definitely one of the highlights. With the traditional German gastronomies, Bavarian patterned beer tent and ceiling wreaths, as well as a wide range of carnival game booths, all of these will make Oktoberfest Macau at MGM a guaranteed fun and alive event that is just like the Munich Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest Macau at MGM 2018 will be held between October 18 and 29, 2018 (excluded October 21) at MGM COTAI’s 1/F Roof Terrace. Admission tickets and table will be available for sale at both MGM properties starting from September 17, 2018. On top of the regular Family Day Oktoberfest in the afternoon of October 28, MGM will introduce its first-ever Industry Day in the afternoon of October 20, to welcome all employees from the hospitality industry to party up with friends and families with special offers. Complimentary shuttle bus service between MGM MACAU and MGM COTAI will be available during the Oktoberfest period. The number of tickets and tables are very limited, so get them soon before they are out!
