Bricks symbolize human construction and civilization — they have a modest upbringing, but each takes on a completely different fate. Some are used to build houses and temples, while others are used to build roads and milestones. Meanwhile, gold is different from the other metals in that it exudes a warm energy and offers an eternal glow. Sitting atop the five-element wheel, gold symbolizes authority, wealth, prosperity and blessings. When gold and bricks cross paths, with the creative and innovative capacity of human beings also thrown into the mix, a promise of new hope, new life and new energy emerges.
