Five Foot Road Retains One MICHELIN Star for the Third Consecutive Year
[March 13, 2025, Macau] MGM COTAI further cements its position as a premier dining destination with prestigious recognition in the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2025. Aji, the innovative culinary concept featuring “Asian Bistronomy,” has achieved its first MICHELIN Star this year, while Five Foot Road, MGM COTAI’s celebrated Sichuanese restaurant, has been rated as the one-starred restaurant for the third consecutive year. All these recognitions mark a new milestone in MGM’s mission to reinforce Macau’s designation as the Creative City of Gastronomy.

Aji's first MICHELIN Star validates the innovative "Asian Bistronomy" concept by Chef de Cuisine Pan Sihui, which masterfully blends Asian flavors with French culinary techniques. It highlights Chef Pan's exceptional talent and creative approach to contemporary Asian cuisine with signature dishes such as the Aji Lobster Thermidor with Salted Egg and Sudachi Comté, as well as the A4 Wagyu with Yuzu Somen, embody the seamless fusion of East and West. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Spectacle, Aji’s immersive ambience enhances every guest’s epicurean journey.
Five Foot Road has been dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Sichuanese cuisine through meticulous craftsmanship and authentic flavors. Guided by Executive Sous Chef Yang Dengquan with nearly 40 years of culinary experience, the restaurant offers a sensory journey that showcases the daintiest side of Sichuanese cooking, from the intricate 24-flavor profiles to the timeless dishes inspired by the official banquets of early 20th-century Sichuan mansions.
