Mechanical Flipping Matrix Kinetic Art Installation
The prototype of the art installation comes from the residency show Macau 2049. With almost a year to design and polish, this “Lion” microparts various cultural elements from around the world including ancient Chinese jade, Egyptian sculptures, and pixel aesthetics. It is composed of 3,988 “gold brick” pixels, executing the mechanical flipping through advanced control systems and data programming.

At the year-round live performance stage, the Spectacle, the “Enchanted Garden Odyssey” invites you into a lush wonderland .
Watch the ladybugs soar through the air alongside adorable forest friends, and be part of the fairytale adventure beneath the world’s largest free-span gridshell glazed roof and indoor LED screens.
