One of Macau’s signature annual celebrations, Oktoberfest Macau at MGM will return to MGM COTAI for 12 days from October 28 to November 8, 2026, inviting residents and visitors to welcome the fall season over a freshly poured beer and enjoy an authentic Oktoberfest experience. Now in its 16th edition, this year’s festival will put music and party experiences at the heart of the celebration, with live performances, new programming and more opportunities for guests to connect and celebrate. Bringing together German beer and food, music and shared moments, the festival continues to introduce fresh elements to one of Macau’s most anticipated annual events.
Throughout the festival, the 1/F Roof Terrace of MGM COTAI will be
transformed into a Bavarian-inspired festival marquee featuring long wooden
tables, benches and festive décor. Guests can enjoy a selection of authentic
German favorites, including roasted pork knuckle, roast chicken and pretzels,
paired with Paulaner beer, non-alcoholic beer and specialty beverages, evoking
the spirit of a traditional German celebration in Macau.
Live Music and Cantopop Nights Take Center Stage
Oktoberfest Macau at MGM has evolved over the years with new elements that enrich the festival experience. This year, MGM will welcome German band SAKRISCH GUAT to Macau for the first time. With more than 15 years of touring experience, the band will bring an energetic live set featuring Bavarian music, international pop hits, and Chinese-language classics, encouraging guests to sing and dance along throughout the evening.
For the first time, the festival will introduce Cantopop party culture, which has developed a strong following among younger audiences. On October 30 and 31, Cantomania, a popular Cantopop DJ collective, will present two exclusive “Cantopop DJ Nights”, featuring familiar Cantonese hits spanning generations and bringing Cantopop’s distinctive energy to Oktoberfest.
From traditional German festival music to Cantopop DJ nights, this year’s Oktoberfest brings together German food and beer, live performances, carnival games, and interactive activities in a cross-cultural celebration with a distinctly Macau character. Whether raising a glass with friends, singing along to their favorite songs, or enjoying interactive games with family, guests can immerse themselves in a festive atmosphere that brings German traditions into a lively local setting.
Oktoberfest Macau at MGM 2026 is supported by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hong Kong, and the German Macau Business Association. The event will be held daily from 6 p.m. to midnight at the 1/F Roof Terrace of MGM COTAI. Tickets will go on sale to the public on September 28. Dedicated Oktoberfest service counters will also be available at MGM MACAU and MGM COTAI for ticket purchases and inquiries.
