MGM’s two signature Chinese restaurants—Imperial Court at MGM MACAU and Five Foot Road at MGM COTAI—have once again been listed in the South China Morning Post (SCMP)’s 100 Top Tables 2026 restaurant guide. This recognition marks the fourth consecutive year that both restaurants have earned a place on the prestigious award.
Now in its 14th edition, the 100 Top Tables is widely regarded as one of the most authoritative dining guides in Hong Kong and Macau. Curated by a panel of food critics and industry experts, the annual guide celebrates restaurants that demonstrate consistent excellence in culinary quality and dining experience. MGM’s continued presence on the list underscores the enduring strength and refinement of its Chinese culinary offerings.
Imperial Court at MGM MACAU is dedicated to the essence of traditional Lingnan Guangfu cuisine, thoughtfully reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The restaurant’s elegant interior is anchored by its masterful craving of a dragon, complemented by refined liuli glass tableware that creates a distinguished dining ambience. Executive Chef of MGM, Homan Tsui, places strong emphasis on seasonality and the natural flavors of premium ingredients, presenting meticulously crafted Lingnan dishes. Signature creations include Crispy Chicken Skin with Shrimp Mousse and Salted Fish Flakes, innovatively prepared using Macau’s local salted threadfin fish, showcasing a harmonious balance of regional heritage and modern creativity.
Located at MGM COTAI, Five Foot Road draws inspiration from the grand banquet culture of Chengdu’s mansion during the Republican era, offering an immersive Sichuanese fine dining experience that emphasizes ritual, depth, and complexity of flavor. The restaurant’s design evokes the majestic landscapes of Sichuan, inviting guests to explore nuanced taste dimensions beyond the familiar perceptions of bold heat and spice. With over four decades of culinary experience, Executive Sous Chef Yang Dengquan brings masterful techniques and profound knowledge of Sichuan cuisine’s distinctive 24 flavor profiles to the table. His refined interpretations of classic dishes, including the traditional handcrafted Stewed Bird’s Nest with Minced Chicken and Egg White in Bouillon, are widely acclaimed among discerning gourmands.
