[Monday, August 8] Mid-Autumn Festival is all about celebrating reunion – nothing becomes more precious than sharing the traditional mooncake with family and loved ones, beneath the gorgeous scenic full-moon. This year, MGM embraces its hometown Macau in its mooncake gift box’s design by collaborating with Lok Hei, an acclaimed local artist who is also the Creator and Executive Producer of the “Macao: Back to Common Roots Narrative Film” (the Film). Featuring several graphic illustrations of Macau’s iconic historical sites depicted in the Film, the design truly spreads the warmest festive greetings with a sense of “home”.
"Macao: Back to Common Roots Narrative Film" illustrates the gradual transformation of Macau from a fishing village to a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure over the past five centuries and reinforces everyone's affection for the Motherland and Macau. The design theme of MGM’s mooncake gift box surrounds the strokes and brushes of Lok Hei featured in the Film, which includes Penha Hill, A-Ma Temple, Ruins of St. Paul and other historical sites in the city.
The three options of mooncake gift box are all traditionally handcrafted with the finest ingredients. Enjoy the timeless classic White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with Double Yolk Gift Box to fully savor the authentic flavors of this traditional delight in a box of four full-size mooncakes; or the mouth-melting Mini Custard Mooncake Gift Box that includes six mini mooncakes with silky and rich egg custard centers. For guests who love to enjoy a variety of creative flavors, the Assorted Mini Mooncake Gift Box makes the perfect choice, which is a box of six mini mooncake featuring innovative flavors, such as the crowd’s favorites Lava Durian and Lava Ginger and White Lotus Seed Paste.
Vouchers for the mooncake gift boxes are available for purchase from now at Pastry Bar, Imperial Court, Square Eight at MGM MACAU, as well as at Anytime, Hao Guo, Chún and Five Foot Road at MGM COTAI.
