April 27 - MGM MACAU CELEBRATES LE FRENCH GOURMAY’S FIRST DECADE ANNIVERSARY

[Friday, April 27] Stepping into its first 10th Anniversary, Le French GourMay showcases the uniqueness of Southern France this year, with artisanal food and wine from the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte D’Azur throughout the month of May. As a proud partner of the annual program, MGM MACAU invites epicureans and discerning gourmands to sample the authentic Le French GourMay special a-la-carte menu at Aux Beaux Arts.

Over the years, Le French GourMay has been earning acclaims and status as the largest wine-and-dine campaign to appreciate each of France's local food character in Hong Kong and Macau. In 2018, the campaign marks its first decade with the treasures from Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, located in the Southeast part of France, which spans from the southern Rhône Valley to the Mediterranean coastline. Its azure-blue skies, favorable climate, astounding natural landscapes and picturesque villages make it not just a perfect holiday destination, but also the favorable place for winemaking, as well as all source of seafood and agricultural produce.

The Southern France journey at Aux Beaux Arts begins with the light and refreshing appetizer selections, including the Seasonal French oysters and the traditional Niçoise salad with egg, tomato, green beans & anchovies. The special menu provides three options for main course, such as the Sardine fillet with grilled baby potato, tomato sauce and bell peppers, which is a colorful Mediterranean dish that brings out the sumptuous flavor of the ingredients, while the Red Mullet Bouillabaisse is the Marseille must-have classic dish cooked with the freshest catch of day. For guests who favor a meat dish, the Seared lamb loin with green pea risotto, beetroot, ham and lamb jus is a contemporary twist option that should not be missed. Instead of mustard, beetroot is used to add a distinctive and delicately sweet flavor to the meat.

Sweeten the French gastronomic affair with the crispy and smooth Nougat raspberry tart, or the Tropézienne tart. Consisting a filled brioche and almond slices, Tropézienne is a famous French dessert from St. Tropez of Southern France.

The Le French GourMay special menu is available only in May. Guests can perfect the dining experience with three selected wines from Southern France at MOP 188* per person, or handpicked wine selections recommended by the on-site sommelier.
