[Wednesday, July 4] The opening of MGM COTAI in Macau earlier this year has not only excited the local Macau food scene, but also the world’s culinary landscape. With the recent announcement of World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018, MGM is elated with the exciting results of Chef Mauro Colagreco’s Mirazur ranking at No.3 and Chef Mitsuharu Tsumura’s Maido ranking at No.7. The two world-renowned chefs helm two of MGM COTAI’s celebrity chef restaurants, Grill 58 by Chef Colagreco and Aji by Chef Tsumura, making MGM COTAI the only resort hotel in the world with two top 10 chefs from “World’s 50 Best Restaurants”.
Mr. Grant Bowie, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, said, “We started off with the vision to bring world-class unique gastronomic concepts to MGM COTAI and we are glad that we chose to work with these two world’s culinary maestros and vice versa. Over the past few years of our collaboration, we continuously witness both of them climbing up the ladder at their rankings with their excellence and innovation. Their achievement has not only put MGM COTAI on the world’s culinary map, but is also a testament for Macau as a Creative City of Gastronomy.”
At Grill 58 and Aji, guests can have a taste of the unique culinary fare masterfully curated by the celebrity chefs and their elite chefs’ team. A sumptuous selection of Teppanyaki and Western grilled meats and seafood are available at Grill 58. Meanwhile, a selection of flavor-packed ceviches and signature Maido favorites are found at Aji.
