Rooted in the Maritime Silk Road, the work takes shells as symbols and seawater as a metaphor for time. Through the transformations of clay, water, fire, and glaze, “objects of the sea” become “vessels of the land,” returning tea to its role as a ritual that reconnects people with the world.
