When the timeless fortune symbol of the "gourd" meets the playful soul of contemporary pop art, an immersive journey blending Eastern aesthetics with modern trends is set to make a dazzling debut at MGM MACAU. Beloved Eastern pop art IP HAHALULU arrives in Macau for the first time, partnering with MGM MACAU to present an immersive art experience centered around the Grand Praça.

Created by Dennis Chan, Internationally renowned creator and the founder of the renowned high-end jewelry brand Qeelin, HAHALULU draws inspiration from gourd, a traditional Chinese auspicious symbol. In traditional culture, the gourd symbolizes blessings, protection, vitality, and joy, making it a beloved emblem of good fortune. Dennis breaks away from the static and rigid form of the traditional gourd, endowing it with lively eyes and vivid expressions, transforming HAHALULU into an "innocent child" awakened from a millennium of cultural heritage, conveying a core message of pure joy and healing.

This special exhibition presents traditional Chinese culture in a fresh and innovative way, allowing Eastern culture to take on a new expression in Macau—a city where East and West converge. Spanning various areas of MGM MACAU, the exhibition transform into an immersive artistic journey, inviting visitors from near and far to experience the the vibrant dialogue between Eastern aesthetics and contemporary trends.

With its distinctive cultural roots and endearing character design, HAHALULU has previously captivated audiences in major mainland Chinese cities such as Beijing, Xiamen, Hefei, Xi’an, and Guangzhou, drawing widespread enthusiasm and social engagement. Now making its debut in Macau, HAHALULU invites you to embark on a one of a kind cultural and artistic exploration.

With its unique cultural essence and charming design, HAHALULU has previously toured several major mainland Chinese cities including Beijing, Xiamen, Hefei, Dunhuang, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen drawing large crowds eager to take photos. HAHALULU Masters Tribute Series

Dennis Chan presents the " Masters Tribute Series" paintings. Known as the "Father of the Gourd," Dennis believes that art knows no boundaries. In this series of paintings, HAHALULU, imbued with Eastern charm, engages in a dialogue across time and space with classic Western artworks by Van Gogh, da Vinci, Vermeer, and others, revitalizing the classics in a contemporary context.
