Conceived with the vision to create tomorrow’s leaders for Macau, the Management Associate Program (MAP) provides young professionals a unique opportunity to explore their career interests, to be mentored by top-notch leaders, and engage with innovative and cutting edge projects.
MAP was established in 1989 in Las Vegas by MGM Resorts International and it is since 2014 that MGM MACAU began offering a tailor-made version for local talent in Macau, as part of the Company’s commitment to talent localization.
At a Glance
The PRIDE Career Development Program provides a series of tracks, ranging from 9 to 15 months, to prepare high potential team members to take on their more important roles in MGM. The intensive program comprises a rich mix of learning opportunities such as management skills training, industry visits, cross exposure, projects, etc. PRIDERs also learn from the "best-in-class" operators and leaders including an overseas educational trip to international tourism destination such as Las Vegas, Singapore, etc. Ultimately, it will help our team members realize their potential to the fullest, and therefore unleashing ‘Greatness’.
In addition to the variety of training and development programs in place, all team members are strongly encouraged to continue their learning and development even when outside out MGM. Through our Education Support Program, full-time team members who wish to further their formal education or gain professional qualifications will be given educational subsidies of up to a maximum of 80% of the total fee for the tuition or professional qualification.
